No oven? No problem! This creamy, dreamy strawberry cake is layered with fluffy cream cheese filling and fresh strawberries. It's the perfect treat for parties or a weekend indulgence.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb Fresh Strawberries (sliced)
- 4 cups Heavy cream
- 24 oz Cream cheese (softened)
- 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 pack Ladyfingers
- 3/4 cup Milk (for dipping)
Directions
- The Cream Base: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Prep the Base: Lightly dip each ladyfinger into the 3/4 cup of milk (don't soak them too long!) and arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of your baking dish.
- Layering: Spread a thick layer of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Top with a generous layer of sliced fresh strawberries.
- Repeat: Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining cream mixture. Smooth out the top.
- Decorate: Arrange the remaining strawberries on top in a beautiful pattern.
- The Chill: Place the cake in the freezer for 4–5 hours (or until set). For a softer, mousse-like texture, you can refrigerate it overnight instead.
