Parmesan Crusted Potatoes

Say goodbye to boring roasted potatoes! These are buttery, garlicky, and have a legendary parmesan crust that will keep you coming back for more.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (500g) Baby potatoes (halved)
- 4 tbsp Melted butter
- ½ cup Grated Parmesan cheese (finely grated is best)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Onion powder
- ½ tsp Dried Oregano or Thyme
- ½ tsp Paprika (for that golden color)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Prep the Potatoes: Wash the baby potatoes and cut them into halves. You can score the flat side with a knife in a diamond pattern for extra crispiness.
- The Cheese Mixture: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and herbs until it forms a thick paste.
- The Secret Layer: Spread the parmesan paste evenly onto the bottom of a baking dish.
- The Press: Take each potato half and press the flat side firmly into the cheese mixture. Arrange them close together.
- Bake: Place the dish in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the cheese forms a dark golden crust.
- Rest & Flip: This is the most important step! Let them rest for 5 minutes after taking them out. This allows the cheese to harden into a crispy crust before you flip them over.
