Creamy, Crunchy "Fried" Pickle Dip That's Taking Over TikTok

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups dill pickles, finely chopped (about 10-12 pickles)
  • 2 cups sour cream (full fat for best texture)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice (optional, to thin)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)
  • Potato chips, ruffled chips, or crackers for serving

Directions

  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let melt.
  2. Add panko breadcrumbs to the pan. Toast 3-5 minutes, stirring often, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Finely chop dill pickles and pat dry with paper towel to avoid watery dip.
  4. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, ranch seasoning, and chopped pickles. Mix well.
  5. Stir in 2/3 of the toasted breadcrumbs (reserve rest for topping). If dip is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons pickle juice.
  6. Transfer dip to serving bowl. Top with remaining toasted breadcrumbs and fresh dill.
  7. Chill 15 minutes for flavors to meld, or serve immediately.
  8. Serve with ruffled potato chips, pretzels, or veggie sticks.
